The right guide should be part mountaineer, part historian, part connoisseur and part story teller. Someone who can take you to the best powder in the morning and a sumptuous farm-to-table dinner at night. Maybe you'd like to catch a sleigh ride back to your hotel, visit a 300-year-old wine cellar, or have a nightcap by a blazing fire. You'll need the local knowledge and expertise to point you in the right direction.
That's where our guides come in. Daniel Sundqvist, Pollux co-founder, has skied, hiked and climbed all over the Alps - and the world. Throughout his travels, he's acquired an encyclopedic knowledge of everything from snow science and safety to regional cuisine and local lore.
This is why he thinks of himself as both an expert guide and ski "concierge."
