Daniel Sundqvist is more than a guide - he's a man possessed. The outdoors are his passion and he's devoted his life to understanding the mountains, the snow and how to safely ski on and off the pistes. Just as importantly, he takes pride in sharing his knowledge and expertise with others.

  He started building that knowledge as a child in Sweden, where learning to ski and learning to walk practically go hand-in-hand. Later in life he ranged farther afield, which brought him to the Alps and a world of new experiences. 

He soon understood what many of his clients learn today - that the Alps are different. They are vast, yet well connected by webs of lift lines, trails, bus and train routes. All of which make it easy to access killer off-piste terrain and virgin powder, yet still make it back to the gondola for another incredible run.

  And like his clients today, Daniel discovered the villages and the people, the local culture, food, wine and history. Connecting all the dots, he developed a unique philosophy of guiding that is the foundation of Palu.
