Daniel Sundqvist - Your Ski Concierge
In the Alps, you need a ski guide who can lead you off the groomers and into the best un-tracked snow of your life, push your limits with a trek up a mountain peak and a miles-long run down the back side, then point you in the right direction for a sumptuous dinner of local specialties followed by a sleigh ride to your hotel.
Daniel Sundqvist is that guide.
The outdoors are his passion and he's devoted his life to understanding the mountains, the snow and how to safely ski within them. Just as importantly, he takes pride in sharing his knowledge and expertise with others.
A Lifetime in the Outdoors.
Daniel started building his knowledge as a child in Sweden, where learning to ski and learning to walk practically go hand-in-hand. Later in life he ranged farther afield, which brought him to the Alps and a world of new experiences.
He soon understood what many of his clients learn today - that the Alps are different. They are vast, yet well connected by webs of lift lines, trails, bus and train routes - all of which provide easy access to killer off-piste terrain and virgin powder, as well as reliable transportation back to the lifts for more incredible runs.
And like his clients today, Daniel discovered the villages and the people, the local culture, food, wine and history. Connecting all the dots, he developed a unique philosophy of guiding that is the foundation of Pollux.
A Philosophy Centered Around You.
His philosophy is simple: Guiding is about more than skiing. It's about taking you on a journey of discovery, built around your unique abilities, interests and goals. One where you'll learn new things about yourself, reveal skills you didn't know you had, build confidence and return home a better skier than when you left.
In short, Daniel is a rare breed of Alpine mountain guide—he is your “Ski Concierge,” devoted to bringing you a highly personal and memorable experience.
